Stovax Horseshoe Inserts

For solid fuel or Gazco living flame fires

Based on an original design dating from around 1842, the Horseshoe Insert is manufactured in a choice of black, highlight polished and fully polished finishes.

This fireplace was originally produced without an ashpan or ashpan cover, so that the ash fell directly on to the hearth. Stovax have designed a discreetly modified alternative version, incorporating a matching cast ashpan cover. This can be used to conceal either an ashpan or the controls of the special coal effect gas fire produced for the Horseshoe by Gazco.
