Poppy Wheatsheaf
Poppy and Wheatsheaf Tiled Front
for solid fuel or Gazco living flame fires
Similar to the Victorian tiled fronts described above, this fireplace
differs in that it is a one-piece casting (with the exception of the
ashpan cover) for quick and simple installation. Its unique design includes
the beautifully detailed Poppy & Wheatsheaf motif on the decorative
hood.
Gas Fires
The Fire Place supply the living flame gas fire specially made for the
Stovax Poppy and Wheatsheaf.
Surrounds
For installation of the front, you will require a special deep-rebate surround.
(see below)
 |
To maintain their authentic look, the tiles in Stovax cast iron
tiled fronts are positioned at a slight angle to the face of the
fireplace. This means that the cast iron front plate stands forward
of the chimney breast by 2 5/8" (67mm).
The resulting gap is neatly concealed by one of a range of specially
made deep-rebate wooden surrounds. Identical in all other respects
to the standard surrounds these have an extra deep "rebate",
i. e. the difference in depth between the inner and outer faces
of the uprights.
